Mahowald Future of Nursing Scholarship was created and gifted to her by members of her family to celebrate her past and ongoing commitment to the nursing profession and the future of nursing education, serving to extend her vision for the future of the nursing profession to future generations of nurses by providing financial aid to current nursing students.
