The Jane F. Mahowald Future of Nursing Scholarship is intended as a celebration and recognition of the work of Jane F. Mahowald, MA, RN, ANEF and her contribution to the nursing profession through educational, professional, organizational, and volunteer work throughout her six decades as a member of the nursing profession. The endowed scholarship will be designed to provide assistance with housing, books, and ancillary costs for a nursing student in his or her final year of nursing school and will be based on the criteria of academic excellence, financial need, and demonstrated commitment to the organization and promotion of the nursing profession.
